Its a either a sign of the times, the bad economy, or both. Film labs are disappearing at an alarming rate, making traditional film, especially medium or large format almost impossible to work with. Its too expensive and turn around time from mailing to labs is too long. It makes me a little sad because in today's world, things have to happen instantly, or people lose interest and walk away. I remember when I shot with film I knew how the photograph was going to look before I ever processed it.
